MY LITTLE MUNCHKIN: WEEK 35

WEEK 35

March 21 2010. 5 weeks to go... 40 days! Baby Marko could be as tall as 19 inches right now and about five pounds. Baby Marko's fingernails now reach the end of the fingertips and may even curl over the tip, making a manicure one of the first things I'll need to do for the bundle of joy. Baby is gaining 25 to 30 grams per day, his heart is beating at a rate of around 160 beats per minute. It is getting a little crowded and that's one reason why he doesn't move like before. That and the fact the he has turn head down position, ready to be born. At this time I am running about every hour to the bathroom, my legs are swelling at the end of the day, and in addition to that I can't eat because I have heartburn.
This week when by pretty fast, Monday we had breakfast at Tatyana's house which was delicious. Thursday my Hubby came home from his 2 trip, i was so glad he made it home on time to make it to our last class of child birth classes we have been taking for the past four weeks. We got the tour of the hospital, got to see the room and a little more detail on how the whole processes is going to go. Friday my friend Amy flew in from Texas for the baby shower and to see me with my big belly. Saturday was the BIG day, the baby shower it was amazing how many girls came and how many gift baby Marko got. We are so blessed to have so many friends in our lives.
