MY LITTLE MUNCHKIN: WEEK 25

WEEK 25

January 10th, 2011. 106 days left. 12 to 13 inches long and about a pound in a half. Baby Marko's <--(this might be his name...) little feet are 5cm long which is about 2 inches. Marko's bones are becoming more rigid. His hands are fully operational, complete with tiny fingernails and fingertips. Baby Marko is using his hands to discover different body parts - but just sensing, the eyes stay closed. Now the eyes are fully developed with eyelashes to protect them after birth, but the eyelids are still closed. The lungs will begin to produce a substance that lines the air sacs, it allows them to inflate easily and keep them from collapsing and sticking together when deflating. I've started my last week of the second trimester. My uterus is the size of a soccer ball and the top of it is about halfway between my belly button and my breastbone. So when I say I feel huge, this is why... LOL. At night I sometimes wake up with a tightening sensation in my legs and calf -Ahhh -Cramp!!! Well I just found this out but if diabetes is confirmed (it happens rarely though), then the pregnancy will be closely monitored and treated as a high-risk pregnancy. February 2nd is my first sugar blood test to find out. I've been very pale white because I am anemic. I think its is kinda scary looking, I hate being so white. This week we are still in Ohio and having lots of fun playing with Brianna and Tristan. Doing lots of shopping for baby Marko, playing in the snow with Brianna and Tristan, going ice skating on Andre's birthday, playing the Wii, watching lots of TV, and cooking dinner with Amanda. This past week on wednesday I woke up to some horrible cramps in my lower belly, kinda like menstrual cramps. They lasted all day long, it was the worst day ever. Me and Toly went shopping and got some great deals, me and Dina went out to the Cincinnati Outlets and did a little bit of shopping. Baby Marko go a few little outfits and Mommy got some sexy Boots!!! Going back home to Asheville tomorrow, with Dina.
