MY LITTLE MUNCHKIN: WEEK 26

WEEK 26

January 17th 2010. 14 weeks to go... The beginning of the third trimester! 13 inches long, 2 pounds. Wow that's pretty big, size of an Egg plant. The brain changes, until this time the surface of baby's development brain has appeared smooth. Now the brain forms characteristic grooves and indentations on the surface to make room for all the nerve cells. Baby now sleeps for longer, uninterrupted periods, sometimes even compatible with my sleep pattern like at night. Monday we planed to stay an extra day in Ohio because some of Toly's friends were driving by Ohio and were going to stop by to hang out and spend the night at andre's house. Tuesday morning we left to go back home to Asheville, NC with Dina, the roads were good but it rained the whole 6 hours. We got to Serge house to some fresh pelmeni, home made pizza and chocolate cake which I was to full to try. Thursday nurse Suzan came to see me in the morning, just for me to find out I've now gained 14 pounds in the past 6 months. Friday morning had my hair appointment with Yelena who made me look beautiful all over again, with a fresh hair cut and colored in my roots. Saturday morning Yelena came over we made some home made candies, which was a flash back to childhood day back in Ukraine. Later went tubbing in Maggie Valley with Oksana, Daniel, Nick, Natalya, Yelena, and Terry Wells. It was lots of fun, I have never been tubbing before so it was pretty nice change from snowboarding. Sunday was church an awesome service, dinner at our favorite place Carrabba's and home to watch some football. This week was nice and busy, I've been feeling great nothing to complain about. Baby Marko is been kicking all lot more lately, and me and Toly have enjoyed every minute of it.
